"Depending on the assignment and the objectives developed together, I take on various roles: process facilitator, feedback provider, expert, reflection partner, initiator."
The main focus of my work as a trainer, coach or consultant is to accompany and support my clients in clarification and development processes. I attach particular importance to practical relevance, solution orientation and attentiveness to oneself and one's environment.
Personal aspects
What would you like to learn in the blink of an eye?
Right at the top of my list is a goldsmith’s course with my sister. I imagine it to be extremely satisfying to use your own creative ideas to make something that is entirely yours using different materials and hold that product in your hands as well as the mental processes necessary to get you there.
What talent would you like to possess?
I would like to be able to play the piano. When I hear a piano piece I feel mostly incredibly moved but relaxed at the same time. Luckily my daughter plays the piano so I get to enjoy it a lot.
On a sunny summer weekend, I like to ….
…wake up in our little house by the lake in Schorfheide, have a long breakfast with the whole family, then get on my SUP board and enjoy the tranquility and movement on the water. Later we would light the fire pit and spend the rest of the day with our three children in the hammock. All offline - wonderful!
Your favourite childhood memory?
We always spent my childhood holidays by the sea in Spain. The highlight was always to sit on the bow of my dad’s yacht and watch the dolphins playing.
What was the journey that made the greatest impression on you?
We started in Buenos Aires and went hiking in the Andes where we met incredibly friendly people in small villages and enjoyed the mountain scenery without any kind of time pressure. In Foz do Iguaçu we crossed the border into Brazil and were overwhelmed by the joy for life, laidback nature and diversity of the people there and the energy of the Amazon. We then added on three weeks in the Caribbean and a paragliding course in Caracas, Venezuela before coming back. Four months in South America was incredibly enriching.
The best function on my phone/tablet?
My Blinkist app!
Motto?
‘Jump and a net will be there’: not being afraid to explore new contexts thereby relying on my own capabilities has given me the opportunity to experience new people, projects and places.
The best training location so far?
A team exercise on a Barcelona beach for a Berlin startup: on the one hand, my favourite European city and on the other hand, the sea and enthusiastic participants. A trainer’s dream!
